167 years in the making...

James & Son is a family owned company which was established in the United Kingdom in 1850. For more than 167 years we have been a proven leader in providing animal feed supplements.

In the early days Mr James, who was feeding Brewers Grain to his London dairy herd, started selling a surplus of the spent grain to neighbouring farmers. Since then the company has opened offices in Australia, Argentina and New Zealand.

Globally James & Son has marketed over 35 million tonnes of co-product feeds. In addition to Brewers Grains, the company supplies a comprehensive range of co-products and other traditional animal feeds.

James & Son (NZ) Pty Ltd was formed in 2003 as an extension to the family owned James & Son (Grain Merchants) Ltd.

To this day James & Son (NZ) Pty Ltd continues to maintain close links with the food processing and beverage industries and livestock farmers.

With the capacity to harness the benefits of by-products complemented with traditional feed grains James & Son is able to make the ideal feeding solution at extremely competitive prices, this ensures that our supplementary feeds are utilised efficiently by the animal to provide maximum profit potential.

The team at James & Son have the background and knowledge to understand that every customer needs is different, they have the technical and practical experience to work alongside you and customise a solution to fit your requirements
